Terms of Service

These terms form an agreement between you and TRN Games (the trade name of Hasan Turna, an independent developer based in Istanbul, Türkiye) about your use of Town Heroes(the “Game”). By playing the Game you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not play.

1. Who may play

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only play with the consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.

2. Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to it secure. Do not share, sell, buy or transfer accounts. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and you can delete your own account at any time — see our account deletion page.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play the Game for your own entertainment. Everything in the Game — code, art, audio, characters, names and text — belongs to us or our licensors and stays that way.

4. Rules of play

You agree not to:

  • cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, mods, injectors or automation of any kind;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the Game or interfere with our servers or other players’ sessions;
  • harass, threaten, impersonate or abuse other players, or post unlawful content;
  • trade in-game items, currency or accounts for real money outside the Game.

We may remove content, roll back progress, or suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

5. Chat and user-generated content

The Game lets you send private messages to other players and write in clan chat. Before you send your first message, you are asked to accept the in-game Chat Rules, which you can read again at any time under Settings → Privacy. You are responsible for what you write.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. In chat, private messages, character names and clan names you must not post or send:

  • harassment, bullying, insults or threats of any kind, including threats of violence;
  • hate speech or content that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics;
  • sexual or sexually suggestive content, or any content that sexualises minors;
  • spam, advertising, scams, phishing or attempts to trade accounts or items for money;
  • personal information — yours or anyone else’s — such as real names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses or social media accounts;
  • impersonation of other players, of our staff or of moderators;
  • content that is illegal or encourages illegal or dangerous activity.

How we enforce these rules. Our servers automatically mask a list of offensive words in private messages and clan chat, and limit how quickly messages can be sent. Masking does not make a message acceptable — you are still responsible for what you meant to send. Our moderators review player reports and may, depending on how serious the breach is, issue a warning, remove a message, mute you (a muted player cannot send private messages or write in clan chat) for a period of time, or suspend or permanently ban your account. Serious or repeated breaches can lead to a permanent ban without a prior warning.

Reporting and blocking. If someone breaks these rules, open their player profile and use Report, choosing what happened and optionally adding a note. The reported player is not told who reported them. When a moderator has reviewed your report, you receive an in-game mail saying so. You can also Block a player at any time — a blocked player cannot message you — and you can limit who may message you to Friends onlyin the Game’s privacy settings.

6. Gameplay recordings and broadcasts

We record matches and may show them in highlight clips, our 24/7 broadcast, the website and social media. Your character name, clan name and gameplay may appear in them. You can turn off Show my name in broadcastsin the Game under Settings → Privacy; your character is then shown as an anonymous player. We never show your account details or your chat. Our Privacy Policy explains what is shown, where and for how long.

7. Purchases and virtual items

The Game offers optional in-app purchases. Payments are handled by Google Play, the Apple App Store or Steam under their own terms, and refunds follow the policy of whichever store you bought from.

Virtual currency and items are a licence to use them inside the Game. They have no real-world value, are not your property, cannot be exchanged for money, and do not survive the closure of your account or the Game.

8. Changes to the Game

The Game is a live service. We may add, change, balance or remove features, content and servers, and we may stop operating the Game entirely. Where we discontinue it, we will give reasonable notice inside the Game where we can.

9. Availability and liability

The Game is provided “as is”. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost progress or lost virtual items. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we handle and why. It forms part of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence.
