Delete your account

Applies to: Town Heroes (com.trngames.townheroes)

You can permanently delete your Town Heroes account and the data attached to it. There are two ways to do it.

From inside the game

• Open Town Heroes and sign in.
• Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
• Confirm. Your account is locked immediately and you are signed out — it stops working right away, but nothing is deleted yet. See How long it takes below for what happens next, including how to get your account back and how to skip straight to a permanent deletion.

By email

If you can no longer sign in, write to support@townheroes.net with the subject Account deletion. Tell us the in-game name you used and, if you know it, your player ID (shown in the game’s settings screen). We may ask a question only the account owner could answer, so that nobody else can delete your account.

What gets deleted

• Your account record and any linked email or platform identifier.
• All characters, progression, inventory, in-game currency and clan membership.
• Your sign-in tokens and device records.
• Your entries in leaderboards and match history.

What we keep, and for how long

• Purchase records — kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, in a form separated from your gameplay profile.
• Anti-abuse records — where an account was closed for cheating or abuse, we keep the minimum needed to enforce that decision.
• Anonymous analytics and crash data — this is not linked to your account and cannot be traced back to you, so it is not deleted individually.

How long it takes

Requesting deletion locks your account immediately — it stops working and cannot be played. Nothing is deleted during the first 7 days. If you sign in again during that window, your account is fully restored: characters, progression, inventory, in-game currency and clan membership are all exactly as you left them.

If you do not sign in again within those 7 days, your data is erased or irreversibly anonymised from our production systems, and from backups, within 30 days of your original request.

Want it gone right away instead? From the same screen you can choose Delete permanently, which skips the 7-day window entirely. That action is irreversible the moment you confirm it: in-app purchases, progression and items cannot be restored afterwards, and starting a new account does not bring them back.
